Practically Speaking, Freedom.
I’ll be appearing in court tomorrow virtually and self-represented. The familiar weight of old cycles (abuse, scarcity, the pressure to abandon Purpose and yield to my abuser’s urgency) has been taxing as I remain focused on Freedom, and a future without abuse.
The price of Freedom has ever been dear, but its worth exceeds the cost.
This is the practice of Freedom: to return, again and again, to the certainty that Life holds worth beyond the grasp of fear, abuse or control.
Practically Speaking, Next Steps.
I’m deeply grateful for your time and energy in reading and supporting this newsletter. My intention has always been to offer my lived experience - sharing both resources and roadblocks - in the hope that even one person might be spared harm, as I continue to advocate for my Freedom from abuse. In sharing my journey’s resources and the roadblocks, I affirm that no abuse is justified, and the fight for Freedom is worth every step. Imperfect, but in practice.
This newsletter will continue to be released weekly on Mondays. Beginning Wednesday August 20, 2025, I’ll also be sharing daily on TikTok. My intention with this pivot is to further cultivate a digital space of support that is both productive and generative, offering daily progress, calls to action and resources.
