Practically Speaking, Freedom.
In pursuit of Freedom, practically.
The last time I felt entirely safe, I was 9 years old.
Big hair, a village of support, safety, belonging. Shortly before my 10th birthday, I arrived at a place very far from all I had known. The hair now shaved, my internal world the only safe place I know.
23.
23 years of “just put your head down and be quiet”, “let it go”, “it’s not a good time right now”. It is no longer sustainable - a vehicle running only on spares. 23 years of priest, pastor, principal, abuser, but no safety.
I do not want to have to die for agents of the law to believe me.
I can no longer afford to cycle from rubble; others enriched through force. I can no longer afford to keep the peace for my abusers, to the detriment of my personhood and Freedom.
If the agents and enforcers of the law remain unmoved to provide protection and reparation from harm - where can I go?
The fundamental intent of this medium.
I am not a legal expert and will never offer legal advice.
Desperately in pursuit of help and safety, I offer my experiences to others without the safe refuge of Home. Committed to no longer suffering alone, this is a generative offering toward Freedom beyond me.
Each week, I invite you.
Through meaningful and practical ways, your support will do so much more than enable lasting Freedom and safety.
I invite you to subscribe and follow my Substack journey, extending meaningful support wherever possible.
You can expect weekly updates on Mondays @ 11:11am MST.
Always in Gratitude and Freedom,

I see you. I stand with you. I’ll keep showing up — for your voice, and for the world you’re helping shape. This is not just a story — it’s a reckoning. A mirror. A call. Thank you for offering this with such clarity and courage.
If even one of us is not free, none of us are truly free. I’m with you always and forever
