When the Hurricane Won't Stop
“Deep roots do not fear the wind.” – Jerry Flowers Jr.
Please excuse the delay in starting TikTok posts on Wednesday August 20, 2025. While preparing for my Tuesday court appearance, my home had a sewage backup through the bathtub, toilet, and the front door drain.
Heavy rains also exposed a weakness in the foundation. Each storm floods inside. The flooring is wet and now moulding, and no accommodation can be made to remove it. I’ve been bleaching floors daily to hold the mould at bay. If you have DIY tips to address mould and keep indoor air safer, I would be grateful.
Court proceeded last week while my toilet was being drilled out to relieve the sewage. I informed the Justice and opposing counsel of the emergency (and that I’m self-represented), yet opposing counsel presses on, attempting to bulldoze past truth and evidence.
Regardless, my TikTok posts begin this evening, with daily updates going forward. I’m still feeling along the wall for loose bricks, believing humane legal advocates exist.
My will remains rooted in Freedom, bent toward legacy. But even the strongest tree cannot withstand hurricane winds forever; 23 years of abuse is wearing this body down.
